I replaced the drivers side door on my 2001 explorer sport. I noticed that the keypad is slightly different. The door may have come from a 2002 sport.
The keypad lights up, but I can't lock the doors with 7/8 and 9/0 keys. Nor does my code work.
Can anyone chime in on this? had a similar experience? Are the newer keypads not compatible with older cars?
