Ive had a problem with the door lock for a wile now (having to press the unlock button a couple times and pull the handle til it opened) and today i was pissed and pulled the inside handle very hard and it broke, now it dosent open the door. it just pulls in and out like regular but does nothing, so i have to open it from the outside.

What do i have to replace to fix this? door latch assembly? or do i have to replace the inside handle?

thanks

Also just wondering when you start your car does you check engine light flash on for a few seconds?

Mine has never lit up ever, wondering if dealer sniped it or somthing because every light flashes on start up

cool so its just the latch not the handle it self?

does the outside handle work?

and without taking the door apart you really can't know what's going on

my suggestion would be to take the door apart and look at the internals of the door. and see where the problem is

do the front door and the back have the same assembly? a friend has a explorer rear door in his garage, could that work?
