Door lock problem

My driver side door does not unlock when any un;ock button is pressed. The pin only comes up part of the way. Also when i start the car and then close the door the door locks itself!
Any suggestions? Thanks!!

I am having a similar problem on my rear drivers side door. The lock only comes up halfway sometimes and when you pull the handle, it seems to lock itself. I need to figure out how to get the door panel off and get a look at it. It's a minor thing, but it's annoying when your passengers cant get out.
