ok so its -2 here outside right now. went to get into the truck tonight and cant get the drivers door open. key wont turn the lock. climbed through the pass. side and tried to pull the handle and it seems to be wanting to move but juts cant. think its frozen or is it something internal to the door maybe?, any remedy or idea would be great, its too damn cold to go out and play with.

My guess would be a frozen lock, spray some graphite or some dry lubricant in there and work it some to loosen it up.

tried that and it stil wont open, is it possible that its the actual lock mechanism itself maybe. maybe its jammed or something cause it seems like of the lock was frozen i would be able to open it from the inside, i guess i'll have to wait till it warm up to see. its 3 outside right now

I've had this problem with every ford I've owned. Just seems to be their one quirk. What I would do with my 86 stang was to go in through the hatchback. Have you tried to see if your hatch opens? If so, once you're in you can get the doors open. Hope it helps out.

i'm in every door except the drivers door. thats the only one that wont open even from the inside, thats why i'm starting to think that its more than the frozen lock theory
