Doors won't unlock!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Help

I can lock my doors but can't unlock them with the driver switch, but the passenger swich works fine. its a 2003 sport trac. Help!!!!!!!!!!!

the rear end squeeks when driving down the road!......Bushings????? and it clunks when making sharp turns........and suggestions?

Welcome to the board!

As far as the switch goes you might want to take the whole thing out and check if it doesn't have any loose connections. Also - it's gonna be tricky to get to but you might also want to check a connection on the plug where door wire loom goes into the pillar and inside the truck - it's hiding behind the driver side kick panel, behind the emergency brake lever. And as for the clunk? I didn't think an 03 would clunk! But I guess that it might be due to bad leaf spring mount bushings or bad shock absorbers. Check on the shocks first. It might also be loose tail pipe - make sure the back hanger is still there and that the tail pipe is hanging on it.

I had the same problem but also the power mirror did not work . I found the ground wire ( bigger black wire ) inside the rubber boot between the door and body was broke. I guess this very common.

Turned out to be a broken wire inside the door.
