Tried to spray it right off the line, it bogged, and ignited all the fuel and methanol in the intake.
Already replaced the hood. I'm building a plenum spacer and up-sizing the inlet to 4". -the 3" has 8-10 in/hg of vacuum!! So i need to fix that restriction.
Sorry to hear about the plenum damage, how are you going to fix that?
The M122 rotors into the M112 body was a nice upgrade from the M90.
I was looking into putting them in a Lightning M112 housing before I decided to just use the whole M122.
What M112 housing was that, before you modified it?
Nice intercooler setup too, you have done some really neat things to this truck.
Any idea how much horsepower it was making or how fast it was in a 1/4 mile?
As to the plenum damage, we were already planning on doing a spacer. So it's not a big deal.
I run 4 M&H DRs on Dora. (275/50R17) and I have a Detroit Trutrac in the front diff. -So I can truly spin all four tires.
Once i fix all the little things the M122 should be 18ish psi. I have a JLP stage 2 5.4 SOHC. So it has ported heads and cams. The Lightining I had this engine in before made 700whp @ 20 psi. -So if that puts it in perspective.
A locker in the front dif? You are crazier than me!
You got to love launching with all 4, who's got traction problems? lol.
My hats off to you! Really nice work you have done there.
Please post more pictures and videos when you get it running again, I will be checking out your threads and the Facebook page as well.
