Doubler Question

Is there a specific purpose to using a 1350 for the front case? Would a 1350 bolt up to my M5OD?

1350s are easier to find in manual versions (I'm sure somebody out there would probably club you over the head if you cut up a rare 1354 manual shift case just to make a doubler out of it lol).

The 1350 will bolt up to your M5OD no problem (ALL RBV transmissions have the same bolt pattern).

I also, think there are a couple other reasons for doing the 1350, there are some other reasons something to do with the shifter or case design.
