Greetings all - been months since I've had time to get on the forum. And thanks in advance for the great advice you all offer!!!

I can see parts of my question covered in various threads, but I'm having trouble just finding the basic info I need. So please forgive any redundancy here...

I'm just looking to add a little thump to my 95 EXP. I have small box with a single 10" CerwinVega sub and a 200watt amp mounted directly on the box. I had it put together this way so I could pull the whole thing out when I sold my last car.

The amp has a adjustable low-pass filter and line-level inputs. All I want to do is hook up the amp to the rear speaker channels in my 95EXP. The truck does NOT have an existing sub.

(Yes I understand the higher risk of theft with this setup, but my truck is pretty well ragged out and I bolt the thing down to the floor. Besides, I have so much junk in there, the sub will probably be covered up most of the time anyway.)

Can anyone tell me (or provide a wiring diagram that shows) exactly which wires (+/-) from the head unit I need to tap into for the rear speakers?

Or is there any easier way to get a sub signal? For instance, even though my EXP doesn't have a sub, is there already a sub out (wire) from the head unit that I can use? (I have the AM/FM/CAS with 6-disc in the center console.)

Finally, does anyone know which wire (color) I can tap into so the amp will be turned on and off by the head unit? (is there a line for power antenna, even though I don't have one on this truck?)

I guess the big thing I really need is to know which wires (colors) I'm looking for to do all this so I can start splicing away.

Thanks again to all.

i would just tap into the speaker wire for a rear speaker. And your best bet is to get a line level converter to convert your speaker signal to rca. Maybe 20 bucks.
