1992 Ford Ranger XLT
Hi guys new here and already made a mistake and posted in the wrong area. Sorry. I have a 92 Ford Ranger XLT and want to get some chrome valve covers and exhaust manifolds but can't find any. Can anyone help me find some? My engine is the Ford Vulcan 3.0 V6. Thanks.

Where have you looked so far? First place I thought to try is JCWhitney.

Sorry nothing there either I tried Jeggs , Edlbrok , Partstrain, Rockauto. Don't know any other places. Still searching.

I'm having the same problem trying to find chrome valve covers for my 4.0. I'm thinking about getting a pair from the junkyard and getting them chromed. lol I'll let you know if I find any anywhere though. :)

Chrome rusts. It's ok for show vehicles, not really that good of an idea for something you'd actually drive, especially in the south with all the humdity.

You can get anything metal chrome plated if you find a custom plater who will do it though. JBA makes chrome headers for the 4.0L OHV, chrome might not last too long on factory manifolds.

We also have a member on here who does custom powder coating. He's done quite a few valve covers, intake manifolds, and lots of other parts.
