Well, I've seen a ton of threads about problems with door locks, but I don't see my problem in particular, so here's your one millionth question about door locks.
I have an '03 XLT. When I lock my doors (w/ key, fob, or keypad), my driver's side door will sometimes still open from the outside. The alarm will go off if I open the door after it's been locked, but it shouldn't even open, should it? None of the other doors do.
I can't find any pattern as to when it will or will not open, either. It seems to be completely random. Some times it locks and will not open, other times it locks and then opens right up. One other thing I've noticed is that I can't just manually push the door lock in like I can on the passenger side.
Any suggestions?
