Ok, I spun my front driveline in half and am in need of a new one.

Anyone know of a place to get a new one?? None of my junk yards have one for my truck so I'm looking on-line with no luck.

When I was looking for a driveline for my '87 BII, I was directed to Six States Distributors here in Orem, Ut ((800) 574-1155; (801) 224-1155). Who knows? As a "distributor" they may have ties with a place in Twin Falls or Burley.

Well Mr. Shorty, we have a six states here but I'm just shopping around.

Danny, I was out playin in the rocks and snow. I came over a ledge with the front tires and as soon as they droppped over the truck slid side ways into a chunk of the ledge and I was left with no choice but to drive forward. As soon as I did that, with the amount of torque I had on it the driveline literally spun in half.

Damn dude, you really work that thing. I've been getting mine ready for a big run memorial day weekend and It will be the first actual multiple day run with the 35s, locker and all. I'm going with 9 cherokees running from 31 to 38s and 2 CJ's one with a 454 and 38s the other with a 350 and 33's. Everybody thinks I'm gonna lay it on the roof or not be able to go on the obstacles. And to be honest with ya, I feel tippier than a drunk sailor when I'm in that on angles. I'll post pics when I get my scanner working again but I climbed my front end on a 2 foot rock and it seemed tippy where I see other guys like Diff whack and you with these crazy stories and angles. Any suggestions or do I just have to get used to it, oh yeah and I'm disconnected.

The only real thing I can tell you is place your tires good. Air them down to atleast 10lbs. and whatch them work.

Extreme angles can work for you or against you. You gotta have the nerve to do it and try it. But you should know by now how extreme you can go. Your not going to be able to do the stuff your Jeeper friends will but you'll do it different. Like me, I wheel with yotas ranging from 36s to 44s. They all either have marlin crawlers and/or dual t-cases. I've seen these little 4-bangers out do big blocks. Theres things they can do that I can't but
they have better set-ups. Most the time I just take diffrent lines then they do.

You just got to go out and get the experience. Experience will help you more then anything.
