Driver door lock issue

I did some searching but couldn't find anyone with the same problem. Every once in a while when I shut my driver door, the door locks automatically. Anyone ever had this problem or heard of it? Any fixes?

My wife used to have a focus and it did the same thing. Never found a fix for it. We even took it to the dealership and they had no idea. We sold it and got her a fusion. Never had the same prob with it. Best of luck finding the answer.
