Yesterday my wife drove my Explorer and when she got home she took the key out of the ignition and tried to unlock the back doors with the button on the driver's side door. The button was unresponsive while the key was out. The button's on all of the other doors work fine with the key out of the ignition. Also I noticed driving it today that when I stopped the car and turned it off the radio cut off immediately as I removed the key rather than staying on until I opened the door. It would seem as if the door is not registering as closed in the system somehow or something because the alarm system isn't working right either. I'm not sure where the problem is. Anyone experience this before? Thanks in advance.
