Are there any suggestions of the best way to diagnose if it is the motor ,or wiring for my drivers door window? It doesn't go up or down. All the other functions on the drivers side work( the master control).

It could also be the switch or the wiring in the door boot. You can check and see if having the door open to some degree changes the function of the window. If it does, you likely have a split wire in the door boot. This is very common.

You may have to take off the panel and use a DMM to see if the motor is getting any power when the switch is operated. If it isn't, you will have to work your way backwards to find where the interruption is.
