So I was driving to work this morning and I heard something rattling around under my seat. Sure enough the recline lever came off right at the pint/bolt and was laying on the carpet under the seat.
I know this is very common. But it was strange that it broke while it was not even being used. At least the seat is still locked in the up position.
So I did some google-fu and it appears that the 2000-2001 Ex used a steel lever. Would that be an exact replacement for the lever in my 98 and is that the preferred solution to this? Anything complicated about swapping the lever out before I get into it? Thanks
