drivers side auto door lock

I have a 96 XLT and my drivers side front door lock wont lock when i puch the button. However, if I put in the key and unlock the door, i can unlock all the doors, any ideas? If I can ever get my door panel off i will try to find a loose wire.

The drivers door wireing harness is notorious for broken wires, that is where I found the break that was causing my passenger side window to not work. Also the switches can cause strange problems with windows so check them also.
