I stopped at McDs tonight and when I picked up my food the window wouldn't go back up. The motor works fine, it even stops automatically at the bottom. What I need to know before I open it up is, is there a clip or bushing that breaks easily?

So you can hear the motor run when you try to raise the window but the glass stays down?

I think the only thing that breaks easily in there is the cable that raises and lowers the window. If the cable is broken you can still raise the window manually when you take the door panel off. Grab the glass and pull up on it. Then tape it in place until you can get the regulator replaced.

Lots of info on the board about changing the regulator.

Thanks D-Hook, I'd have replied sooner but I just got my internet back. Got the window up most of the way and taped. However, with the temps the way they've been she goes into the shop monday to have the regulator replaced. Not having a heater in the garage really sucks.

Thanks again.
