Driverside brake light won't work.........

Got pulled over because that is when most people find out these things. Told him I already knew about it so no ticket (thank god). Well I went to the auto store and bought a replacement put it in and nothing. Maybe some help on some wiring or something of that nature. I tried searching on forum really could not find my issue.Sorry if re-thread. Thanks.

you might want to tried checking for voltage on the LG wire. The same color goes to both sides, so it is likely close.

Check for voltage (use a known good ground, not the ground in the socket), check for clean contacts, then check for continuity to ground
