Driveshaft length?

Anyone know how long the driveshaft is on a 2wd Sport? If not, anyone know exactly how to measure the length?

Also, is the Ford Racing aluminum driveshaft too for the Sport? Here are the specs:
Drawn from seamless 3.5'' diameter, 0.114'' wall 6061-RT62 aluminum tubing. Includes a 28-spline transmission slip yoke and 1330 U-joints. 45.5'' long (CL to CL of U-joints).


Could I just have it shortened at a local shop? AT $160-180, it's half the price of a custom aluminum shaft.

Shortening a shaft is cheap.

If you still need the measurements I'll get them for you when I get my truck back next week.

Just wondering if getting a full custom is better than shortening one. Balance and all.
