driveshaft replacement

can anyone tell me is the 92 driveshaft will fix on a 91.
If so can you tell me what kind of problems i might come accross.

92 xlt 5 speed...to..91 xlt 5 speed

also do i have to balance it?

It will fit just fine. The only problem would be if one of the trucks is a 2 door, and the other was a 4 door, cause then they would be different lengths. And no, you shouldnt need to balance it.
 






there both 4 door trucks and 4 by4
 






i beleive all xlts are four doors. the only two door is the sport
 






If you're replacing shafts I would replace the U-joints at the same time.. They are relatively cheap and are a weak link in the drivetrain. Check out the link in my sig for detailed info and pics...
