well it seems my truck has once again set me back with a vehicle. after leaving my house last night, my truck kept felt like it was surging and like something was clashing. i make it to the top of the hill to a stop sign, and when i try to go again i have a no go. the truck doesn't move. when i tried to put it in park all i would get was like a buzzing noise. i do however got my truck to move when i put my t-case in 4 lo. i was doing 15 mph at about 2000-2500 rpm. NOT GOOD! i inspected the noise and it's coming from the back of the t-case. does this lead me to believe i have lost my transfer case? or have i lost my tranny on the output shaft? or both? please help me if you have any insight of what it might be. i'm leaning towards the t-case. it's a 91 explorer. thank you!
