Driving a car

Not really. Both my Mustangs are 5-speeds and the Ex is an auto. They feel totally different so it is easy to tell which one is which. Maybe if I had a bigger car though.

i hear u wen my 95 ex died i had to switch over 2 a 96 taurus was probaly the worst year ive had driving that little thing with no power

i go from my Explorer to a honda crx every now and again, weird looking up at truck tires on the highway,,

Ex is getting an engine swap, so I am driving a Focus... Can't stand it. Really pissing me off. I need my truck back ASAP!

Most of you guys go the opposite way, but I love going back to my 02 Taurus, so much faster and smoother, i can peel around turns twice as fast. The 4.0l in a 4300lb truck is slow as hell, plus I baby the explorer since we all know the transmissions aren't the best. For a road trip I'd take the Taurus any day over the explorer, but I can't lie about liking to sit higher up and having 4x4.

After I hydrolocked my Explorer I had to drive my partners 98 Kia Sportage to work ect. Everytime I went to Indicate I turned the wipers on. The lack of torque was also a killer, every time I had to speed up the auto kicked back 2 gears and revs to 5000+rpm.

I do not notice the wave of torque pushing me from behind like I do in an all American made truck. So as I slowly push my foot down looking for torque I unwillingly pass that point of no return, then "WWWWWWWWAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHH!!!!!!"

It was a good incentive for me to fix my truck though.

No our trannys suck ass, mine blew at 111,000. Along with lots of other peoples around 110,000 to 120,000. At least in the 02-05's.

thats y i dont look at ex's past 01 all the 2nd gens seem not to have probs that ive seen around here

Oh goodness yes, you aren't alone. I absolutely hate it when I don't have my explorer to drive- I feel so short and uncomfortable!

If i can, i like to rent a Nissan Rouge to keep me going. it isn't as much fun as my ex, but I do like it a lot!

Worst Part of the whole situation, The dealership did not scrap my windows off before turning on the wipers and now my $60 AWESOME wipers are not working for $hit!! *******S!!!!!!!
