I appreciate being able to use this forum, I have a 02 Explorer, and while driving,
1st. all dash instruments went off. 2nd. motor started to surge. 3rd. engines dies.
I have checked the battery, O.K. Alternator is O.K., I noticed that the Battery cables had a Massive amount of corrosion under the covering? I have always used the felt battery post savers, now it looks like all they do is display the build up through out the length of the cable, could all this come from having a lack of current, due to the cables being screwed up??
