DRL module?

Seems that lately when you start the Explorer up, the high beams will automatically come on instead of the DRL's. It's easily solved by turning the headlights on, but annoying if you forget to look to see if the high beam indicator is lit up. Is this the DRL module going south, or something else?

Does flash-to-pass work when you pull the multi-function switch toward you?

If not you have a bad flash to pass relay. (which is also the high beam relay)

May also just be the multi-function switch itself. If you get high beams when the switch is forward then it's the multi-function that's bad, not the relay.
