the detail on this stuff is incredible as well
Jssong- not sure if I am going to go gray to match limited trim, white or black. I am leaning toward gray to give it the custom look they deserve, this isn't anything you could order out of a catolog

Where did you get the bumpers??? DROOL!!!! I WANT, I WANT!!!:bounce:

OK I sound ****y after I read this. I helped build the sliders, showed the guy pictures of what I wanted and described features for the bumpers and drank enough jack daniels to raise a battleship with him at the bars. After that, he did all the work on the bumpers and most of the work on the sliders. He did a sweet job with design but wasn't sure if he wanted to do anymore. Note that i have a body lift and this is all custom fitted to that style. He'd be interested but you wouldn't be getting both bumpers and the sliders for the $825 I paid for it!!!!!!

Those look like Trail Ready Bumpers- Need to pain them pee yellow! Looks Good.

What type of metal did yall use to make them? They do look awsome! How much would you say they weigh... they look heavy.

Chris

Those look sick! I was wondering if you had a pic of the rear quarter panel and the bumper to see how they line up, after they are hacked. I'm thinking of doing this in the rear, but I'd love to see what it looks like. Nice work.

Those bumpers are awesome, that guy did an excellent job, I would be interested in a front bumper from him. Do you still have any lift parts for sale?

The best pic is the one above. I hacked the rear quarters right at the trim line. remember I have the 3" body lift as well so the bumper was custom built for that, but it should look the same if you hacked yours. I didn't like all the crap that got stuck on the inside of mine as well as the abuse that they got, so off with it!!!

Danny

Sliders and rear bumper looks great.... the front.. well, looks strong to say the least... not to mention fawkin huge! must weigh a nice lil bit! I think the front is just too big and bulky lookin, but i do like the sliders and rear bumper. Over all tho, looks  Hopefully the Pukon can handle that extra weight ;) (just had to mention the pukon :) )
Pete

Pete your compliments are always so left handed. It must be the WI -IL border thing LOL.
I agree, I gave him pics of the front bumper the way I wanted it, but only said I wanted outer protection on the brushguard, and to do what he wanted. I didn't like the brushguard at first and still debate what could be different. I guess you must comprimise some looks with protection. I've bashed the front corners a couple times and now I should be good to go. Most brushguards would just bend into the lights if they were not mounted back to the bumper. This on the otherhand will "fight back"
This is one pic I gave him. I'd like to see this brushguard in person to see if it looks a lil odd as well.

And the Yukon is probably gonna be sold to my roommate. I'm moving to Scottsdale, AZ at the end of the year and nobody will want a WI titled vehicle down there if I want to sell it.

Schweeet bumpers!

I really like the rear bumper- Im going to keep this thread for my fabricator. It is very similar to the bumper I designed to go with my front TJM bumper. I had the same idea for the rear, but I want the bumper ends to extend forward under the cut rockers, but the idea is the same that I drew up a while ago.

Dannyboy, did you start with flat stock for the rear, or did you use a formed piece of some sort?
Did you have to cut the rear frame rails, or does it fit over or around them somehow?

Looks really good.

No wonder they look like Trail Ready bumpers... You gave him a picture of a Grand with one and told him to build it! I think it needs the cooling slits tword the bottom and some Abnoxious paint! Seriously, when I built my front end, I wanted an ARB with a prerunner bar instead of a grill/ brush gaurd. If I was building another I would shoot to build a T/R, probably exactly like yours. I have heard bad things about the reciever on a multimount bending, but I bet w/ the lateral support yours wont. Do you have any pictures of the actual mounts (frame brackets)? I am curious what kind of brackets he fabbed. Thanks. Lets see some action shots!
I have the same suggestions as STEVE on the rear- What kind of stock did he use?
