So I dropped the VB, labeled EVERY bolt as was highly recommended, got my 2nd douching of Mercon V, and what do I find?
TRANSTEC gaskets, 1 piece gaskets...do you think this valve body was rebuilt at one point?
The inside looks like an original factory setup....No FORD TSB updated blowoff valve, that little screen is still there (I've seen it removed with the Transgo and Superior shift kits), springs are grey, not colored (although, does the paint on red springs, for instance, just wash off from the detergent in the fluid?) 4 checkballs I think.
The gaskets looked solid, with no obvious breeches.
Any opinions?
