Drum Brakes on 2004 Sport Trac HELP!!

So I just got a 2004 Sport trac XLT Vin checked out, but it has drum brakes. Manf 03/04 so what gives. Has any one herd of this and my Axle is a 4:10 8.8 per tag on back. 4L10 88 1m20 s663a I thought Disc was stanard.

Ditto above. FYI, if you ever need brake pads, the 2004-05 ST rear calipers have phenolic pistons, not steel.

#2 - 01-02 Sport Tracs came with drum brakes in the rear. In 03+ the Sport Tracs have rear disc brakes.
