Dual shock setup for IFS?

Before anyone tries to jump on me for using it, I have a supercharged 392 CID motor goin in there with a six inch lift, so I want some extra suppport cause I'm gonna drive it as though I stole it.

Anyone know who makes a dual shock set up for a '91 Explorer with the IFS. I am guessing the Ranger stuff should work, but haven't found who makes it for them either. I have haerd of a company named "Desert Steel" but have been unlucky in any attempt to find out who they are, or how to get ahold of them.

P.S. Anyone know where I could find photos of this?

huhwhat, Welcome to the website.. I think you will find what you want here.
Take a look at the thread "FAKRWEE's suspension setup" in this Forum. there are some pictures of Tom Rios Explorer with a dual shock set up and also Tom Davis mentioned something about James Duff having a dual or multi shock bars. Hope this helps. Would like to see some pics of that engine stuck in your Explorer when you get it in.

James Duff makes a dual shock kit for 91-94 explorers; see http://www.jamesduff.com. I just got this kit; going to see the frame shop monday about getting it put on. (and also straightening out the drop brackets, and hopefully make them move less). Thee is a review of this kit on the main explorer4x4.com webpage, under product reviews, here:

There is no other kits available, that I can find. RickH's, TomF's, and Zimmerman's dual shocks all are custom setup.

The only thing to remember is that James Duff only warrants their dual shock setup on stock Explorers, or ones with their lift... I'm going with it anyway, but I thought I'd warn you....
