Yes they are good off road until you hit some rocks!

Traction = Excellent
Sidewall = HORRIBLE
Customer Service = NON EXISTANT

Heres the short version:
I wanted a good MT but for a daily driver (weekend warrior)
Dunlop was just to release their new MT and I ordered a set through a friend, I got a good deal but still ALOT of $$$. Took 2 months to get them.
had them for less than 2 weeks, one of the sidewalls looked like a water balloon, very dangerous. Tried to warranty the 1 tire, Dunlop said it was an impact fracture, tire not under warranty. FOught with them over that, tried to buy another one, on BACKORDER for 6 months.....

Try to get somebody from Dunlop on the phone and see what kind of lukc you have, that should tell you something about their off road tires. They are good tires yes, but they dont stack up to the others for the $$$ you spend. Dunlop is a division of Goodyear, fyi.

I ended up scrapping those POS all 4 of them and buying some Remington Mud Brutes for $85 ea, less than half the cost of the Dunlops. THese tires are impressive, dont pay for the name on the side....

does anyone know anything else about the dunlop mud rovers?

I run them and have been very pleased with their performance offroad. They also wear well onroad. I've been running them for about 16000 miles now. No complaints. Bear in mind, I dont wheel on sharp rocks normally so I dont have to test the side wall all that much. I'll probably buy them again too, can't beat the price.

Jaime,
Not true about Goodyear owning Dunlop. Bridgestone owns them.
Dave.
