i was about to buy some Dunlop Radial Mud Rovers (31-10.50-15) for my X and was just wondering if anyone else has any comment on the good or bad

We've had them on my F150 (32x11.50) for about a month now. They seem to be holding up just fine. Road noise is noticeable, but not unbearable. Oh yeah, they're not half bad in the mud either. Not a shabby tire for the price.

PS - BUt I wouldn't expect more than 40k miles out of them.

I had them, returned them in 3 days.
Sidwall blew out on mine, like a water balloon on the side of the tire. Dunlop said it was an "impact" fracture. I had them on the truck for two days, drove to work and back twice and never hit anything more then a pot hole.

Some off road tire.

Also Dunlop refused to Warranty the tire, they gave me (actually my dealer because tey wont talk to you, Goodyear tire) the runaround for about a month. Also a replacement tire was on backorder for at least 3 months. Luckily my tire guy is a friend of mine and he took them back, sent them back to Dunlop and gave me another set of tires, the 33's I have now.

I started looking online and found many reviews for the same tire I had bought where people were very unhappy with the results. However people in the Rover crowd seem to swear by them. So maybe I just got a lemon tire, maybe not, but the fact that Dunlop woul;dnt and couldnt replace it was a PITA and $$$ out of my pocket

I wouldnt buy the Dunlops again if I won the Dunlop lottery. Some off road tire they got there, I would hate to see what the rocks do to the sidewall! Sorry I know its not what you wanted to hear.
I really wanted to try the radial rover R/T too because it was a step up from the A/T's but not quite a full blown M/T. Now I think BFG and Goodyear have both brought out much better tires then the Dunlops in the same price range......
