I got a Dynomax muffler installed today and haven't noticed any change in sound.
The sound I was after is like 96limitedX's (found here http://www.explorerforum.com/forums/showthread.php?t=157727)
The part number on his is 17731, at the shop they only carried 17730 but said the sound would be just like the one I asked about.
I'm not looking for a a HUGE difference in sound but I did expect something more aggressive than stock.
My question is, is this because I had a different model installed(the guy said it was just the location of the pipe that was different) or do I just need to break it in? Maybe I need to run a stright pipe to the muffler?
I apologize for the possibly obvious questions but I'm new to this. Any help would be appreciated.
