Early bronco coil buckets for dana 44 swap

How did you guys get away with using EB buckets on the Ex frame?? My frame has a large bulge where I would want to put the bucket...

I angled mine out a little bit and welded plateto the sides. The coil sat in better doing that anyway. pics at demon4x4.com/tech/dana44.htm The pics aren't to great, I am going to take new ones and change them out soon.
 






I notched mine and mounted them in the same location as the stock "X"; then welded them for support.

I wussed out and just bought a new stock piece from Ford. I needed to get him back on the road. Hopefully if I save my pennies I can start reassemblying the dana 44 and the 9" and get this project wrapped up before this winter
 






hey whats up im looking for the specs for a dana 44 for the front of my explorer its a 91 any and all specs and info would be greatly appreciated. thank you....
