ebay Intake and exhaust question

I just recently got a 02 explorer xls 4.0L and I am wanting to do some mods to it. I found an intake on ebay and was wondering if anyone has used it and if so, how does it work.

I am also wanting to put on a new exhaust and I can not descide on what type to get. I was thinking about getting the same type that I had on my 04 ranger 3.0L. I had a flowmaster 40 series and I liked the sound. I was wondering if I would have to get a different type since the engine in the explorer is bigger. I dont know to much about cars so any help would be appreciated.

i had an ebay exhaust on my 03 explorer and i loved it. it produces as nice, possibly more nice, of a sound as a k&n intake and at a fraction of the cost. plus it gives it a nice look under the hood. flowmaster, magnaflow, and JBA all have nice sounding exhausts. i am going to go with a gibson for my 05 explorer b/c it does not have as much cabin noise from the exhaust as the other three.

EDIT: if you want a nice throaty sound, then go with the first three exhausts i listed. all of those will give you a deep, muscle car sound that will definitely be heard.
