I'm trying to figure out if it is worth shelling out $250+ for an EE airdam. I'm not sure if it would look good on my X and I've heard about them being poor quality. So, I just need some opinions, yes or no?
The poor quality you mention was in my case, just poor finish of the gel coat. A little resion work, sanding, and prep to paont and painting made it look great.
do it!!! i want a EE airdam too. the ford airdams look, wimpy and too small, although i must admit painting it makes it look better. But i say go for it.
hey, those of you who have them, did you fill up the middle hole part? (like where my relocated license plate is) i put a black mesh with the chrome flames on it coming out sideways on each side of the license plate and it really looks a ton better that way. i was just wondering if you guys just left your empty or if you had the same idea in one way or another?
hartman you should do this, but don't buy the one that the f'er who stole this truck is probably going to be trying to sell sometime soon. if you see this saleen bumper for sale painted white contact the authorities there just aren't that many of them!
ford98zx2, yours is plain out swweeet. i gotta love it, that dam and everything is just so plain and just clear cut, i dunno thats my opinion of it, but its sweet looking. i guess i think its plain because its simple. good ole billets clears and everything done in moderation perfect
