Hi, Currently having to replace Exhaust manifold, curious about the EGR delete.

Anyone do this? info on it?

Apparently it helps the engine run better to take it off, increase HP, less to break etc.

Where I live, do not need to deal with inspections.

If you do it, do you need to reprogram the car?

Any info is appreciated!

I’ve heard that it doesn’t help much, if it all, on these trucks. Not worth it.

It doesn't help much and when you leave the EGR circuit unplugged, the check engine will blink. It could kind of open Pandora's box...

Working egr is better then a half assed delete
To delete it properly you will need a computer tune to remove its functions the egr valve (diaphragm) and dpfe. After that it is a simple
Block off plate and gasket on the engine side and a m22 plug on the exhaust side
