EGR delete

Has anyone on here done an EGR delete? I've got time and money heading my way this summer and hate EGRs.

I have the 4.0 but 4.6 guys feel free to respond

It's illegal and will cause a check engine light to display. Turning the function off through tuning is also illegal. It is also against forum rules to discuss illegal activities.

The EGr may be a pain to repair, but it will make your engine last longer. The egr does not even operate at WOT anyway--so why bother?

I urge you to take the time to understand the egr system so you can deal with it more efficiently.
