Ok, I was reading through some of these post that you guys have here. I replaced the egr sensor and the CEL did not come on for about two days. The bam! it came back on. I bought the part at the dealership so I know it wasnt an aftermarket clone. can anybody tell me what else it can be? I have an 01 explorer. When I had the codes pulled from autozone they told me the EGR valve was flowing too much and the cylinder 1 was leaning out. Or that the right side of the engine was not getting enough gas. I'm stumped...what else should I check? I'm going today to get the fuel filter replaced and new spark plugs put in. Incase of a fouled out plug. Only thing is there is no hesitation when the truck is driving. Just a rough surging idle and sometimes dies when its in sitting and idling. Please help guys!!!
