Hey all, currently replacing valve cover seals, drivers side done no problems at all. Having difficulty with the EGR tube on passengers.
I have the nut that is attached directly to the exhaust manifold loose with very little effort, but am confused as to how the nut directly above that is removed. Is this lefty lefty loose as usual? Or do I loosen in the opposite direction as it is double ended.
I have read a lot of people just bend it out of the way, I would like to avoid this if possible.
Any tips are appreciated, thanks.
EDIT: Any way to remove the passenger valve cover without removing EGR period? It looks like it may be able to slide forward if I remove the alternator and a couple coolant lines, although I feel someone would have found out about this by now.
