Yesterday, I went ahead and cleaned out the IAC w/ electrical cleaner, cleaned up the throttle body (lots of carbon buildup), and didn't bother with the MAF (will do after replacing EGR Tube) and replaced the EGR valve, the valve wouldn't come off, so while trying to take it off, I ripped off the tube that connects to the manifold off, I ordered an new one, should be here tomorrow. I reconnected the broken tube somehow and new EGR and cleared off all codes.

Now my problem is, I'm still getting the P0402, which I'm guessing is because the tube is ####ed up and needs to be replaced, and or while playing around when the engine was hot, I removed the reinserted the vacuum line that connects to the EGR. While off the engine idle improves, it's much steady and doesn't hesitate. While plugged in, it blogs down and hesitation occurs.

Before I went ahead and changed everything I still had codes p0171, and p0174 and they're still coming on, I'm guessing O2 sensors or EGR acting up?

Now I'm totally lost until tomorrow when I get the tube replaced, but until then anyone have any ideas????
I will clean out the MAF sensor tomorrow with my mechanic that'll replace the tube for me, so I'm hoping that gets rid of the p0171.

Oh and for the vacum hose that connects to the EGR, when I put my finger over the hose, I can feel air, either sucking or pushing, I can't tell.
Thank you guys, and have an Happy Thanksgiving.

I've also included an video, just for the sake of diagnosing the problem.

Thanks for the reply, tomorrow, I'll clean up the MAF and install the new EGR tube, afterwards, if the problem persists, then DPFE it is.

I've replaced the tube for the EGR and still no change in idle, its still rough and the exhaust sounds as if its misfiring, I'm still getting the p0402 code. I've cleaned the mass air flow as well and seen much improvement in the acceleration but idle is still rough.

But once I take off the vacuum it's perfect. Exhaust has steady air coming out, and idle is perfect.
Now I'm going to drive it without the vacuum and see if it throws out that same code but in the meantime, what are the advantages and disadvantages of driving without the vacuum connected? Thanks

Edit: P0402 still comes up with or without the vacuum connected. Now, I'm looking at the DPFE sensor/EGR pressure feedback sensor. I'm probably going to end up replacing those, but what about the EGR vacuum solenoid? While browsing through RockAuto's catalog, I've seen it and that controls the amount of vacuum to the EGR.
I swear this EGR P0402 is going to kill me. If I've known it was going to be this much, I wouldn't have replaced the EGR at all. I might as well since I already replaced the EGR and the tube now, right?
