electric short in dash

2004 sport trac is shorting out Iloose my speedo tach gauges radio dome light power windows and door chime they will come back on than shut down again any idea what is causing the short

Possibly a loose or bad ground connection, I would look for a shared common ground for all those and check that out first, could be your battery also.
