To start this never happened before until the driver side window broke on my 96 ford explorer XLT. What seemed to happen the next day was. Out of no where the Door locks were locking and unlocking on its own. Door ajar switch was beeping, interior lights going on and off. The car wasnt even on... the only way to stop it was to Remove the fuse but in that case it disabled everything, including my windshield wipers(I need them to drive, but its so annoying with the beeping sound haha). So for awhile I just had a plastic bag covering the door, until i got a door from the junkyard, window and everything was included except the door latch and door switch which i reused from the old door.
Any solutions would be appreciated, been happening to long! I figure something got wet and is shorting out. But iv tried looking and searching everywhere.
