OK guys lately i have been having some problems with my 01 sport. Sometimes after my car has been running for a while or not when i park it even for a minute or two to go into the start i come out to a car with no juice. When this has happened ive noticed something happen. When I go to get a jump from someone i get nothing until i flip my headlights on. Then suddenly i have full power. And it starts right up. I can go home wait a few hours and it will start right back up like nothing is the matter. now here is weird part the other day while i was in a parking garage my car was dead nothing no dome lights, nothing but my accessory port( another odd thing i have power for my cellphone charger but not for a little indicator hmm) ok now i thought i was screwed till i got this great idea to turn my headlights on and off and then i opened my door and what do you know full power no problem with starting actually started pretty fast. So what i cant figure out then is what the F*** is going on. Anyone else have this problem.

maybe there was a car accident or catastrophic even in the area u would have been driving through had your truck started. look into this, and if so mabe its possessed by a friendly spirit in which case i suggest you sell it on ebay you can get rich.

Have you checked your battery connections??

Thats funny we just saw white noise and i guess it could be anything.

The battery cables is something i plan to look at i was just wondering if anyone else had experienced something like that.

Solving a problem is based on defining where it is. Sounds like a problem in the main power distribution. I suggest you bring a wire into the cab and attach it to a lamp or LED in the cab. Then attach the engine compartment side of the wire to a main power point like the connection on the fender starter solenoid. Then wait for the problem to happen becausr the act of opening a hood or moving wires can often make a problem go away before you can start testing with a meter. Based on the results you can then go to the fuse distribution box or battery terminal. I'd pull the fuses greater than 40A and look for any discoloration on the pina as a sign of a bad connection.
