Electrical problems?

So I joined this because my 2007 ford explorer xlt with the 4.6 is having some problems that I’m very confused by. The gauges will randomly start flashing and clicking and it goes away when I play with the headlight switch but here recently it starts missing when it’s doing that so any help would be much appreciated.

Welcome to this forum! Did you unplug the headlight switch to see if it still does it?

With electrical problem, make sure you are dealing with a strong battery with good connections because a weak battery can cause all kinds of weird things.
