Im already running an mtx500D and i want to run another amp to power my infinity components. Is there anything special i need to do? Get a cap? New alternator? Anything like that?

unless you get a BIG amp, you shouldn't need any of those ("Get a cap? New alternator?") you'll only need a dist. block for power or ground, some extra wiring, new rca's, or a y rca cable, and the basics........
