I have a problem where my compass/temp gauges will not turn on as well as the power mirrors are not working. I checked all of the fuses and they seem fine and in place. Is there something else that I should be looking for on this? It is a 95 XLT.

Did you check the fuses under the hood?
Make sure you pull them all out under there, otherwise some are hard to see, as for the interior fuse panel, make sur eyou have a shop light or some kind of bright light right up to them, otherwise its hard to tell if ones blown or not, trust me, plenty have slipped past me in my day lol

I checked all of the ones in the dash and they seemed fine and didn't look like none were missing according to the users manual. I'll check the ones under the hood too, I quickly glanced at them before.

on my 99 the whole temp and compass went out and wont even turn on anymore. ive been meaning to look up to see what the problem could be. so check fuses? is that the only issue with that not working?

There was a thread about the compass problem theres a bad resistor that tends to mess its own connection up, so its the simple fact of getting a few new drops of solder on it....but as for your mirrors, I have no clue...

Thanks Brian, I'll try and do a search of that thread.
