sorry if this is a repost but i couldnt find anything from the search. Do I need to pull off the hub to replace the ebrake shoes? or is it possible to do it w/o removing the hub? thanks.

your e-brake pads are located under the rear rotor hat.

hardest part is getting off rear rotor usually due to an ridge thats been created from the wearing of the inner (disc) - You may need to move the star wheel(located uner a hole thats not punched out (fun) to get the rotor off the set of e brake shoes.

I did get the rotor off pretty easily but it looks like it would be really hard to get to the springs that are holding the shoes on.

Yeah I attempted the e-brake repair the other night. Was at it until 3AM. After killing myself to get the clips on I couldn't get the first spring on. I packed it in. Going to take it to my mechanic.
