I am a volunteer firefighter in NYS. I am trying to install a Interior light in my car. i want to mount it near my rearview mirror. I already installed it and drilled into my headlining board and one side seems to work and the other side is drooping. is there any solution to my problem? The light i have permits me to install it up behind the windshield tint.

Try a Nut Cert. A threaded blind hole rivet like a poprivet. Or maybe double sided tape. Try moulding tape, found at auto parts stores.

i like to use toggle bolts if you are connecting it to the headliner and not the inner roof panel. just swap out the long bolt for a shorter one . place the nut on the top of the headliner and insert the screw from the side with the light
