2002 Ford Mustang
3.8L V6 (yes that's a 6 - SIX)
4 speed automatic trans
just shy of 60,000 miles
Major mods:
BBK shorty headers
Pypes catted X-pipe
GT take-off duals
Ebay CAI with Green Performance air filter
My dad bought an anodizing kit, and I plan on doing a few parts under the hood for a little more pizazz at shows.
Now for quite awhile I've had a bad valve tap. You can hear it the worst under acceleration. It has a squeaky under tone to it. I figured that since I will have the upper and lower intakes, valve covers, alternator with brackets, and a few other things off/out is there something I can look for to fix this issue? It's been driving me crazy because it makes my car sound like it's a POS. I started to notice it around the time I did my exhaust.
Driving to the exhaust shop at 7:30am on a Saturday morning running open headers is always fun
