engine cooling fan

Anyone ever remove an engine cooling fan? The manual says that i need two special tools. The fan has several cracks in it and i would like to replace it before it breaks and puts a hole in my radiator.

Pulled it out a few times. Go to Autozone and get a Ford fan clutch wrench, It will come in two pieces: one that grabs the nut on the fan clutch and one that grabs the four bolts that hold the water pump pulley. Note the direction of the threads on the fan clutch (I think most '92's should be right hand thread, but my BII has left hand threads. should be stamped into the fan shroud). Undo the bolts that hold the fan shroud in place and pull the fan shroud and fan out of the vehicle.
