220K miles. Was very trustworthy. No recent repairs or events. Without warning, just died while making my turn into a shopping center. Coasted to a clearing and restarted. Drove 100 yds and it died again while driving slowly. Restarted and drove it home 2 miles without without another event. Not sure what to do next or if I can trust it.

Is this a hard fix? I had a spinal implosion a few years back and can't move like I used to with the metal in my back.

It's not real easy, the tank must be dropped.

On a ranger splash I was able to leave the rear bed bolts barely threaded in, the remove other bed bolts, disconnect filler neck from bed, them raise front of bed to expose the fuel pump. I used4x4 chunks of appropriate length to holdbed raised. Not sure if this can be done on your trac.
